VitaLink is proud to announce the addition of our new Winder research facility lead by Dr. Rami Arfoosh. After completing medical school in 2000, Dr. Arfoosh attended the Chicago Medical School/ Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, IL to receive his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary studies. He furthered his expertise by completing continued post-graduate training in Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Dr. Arfoosh is ABIM Board Certified and maintains his certifications in Sleep, Critical Care, Pulmonary, and Internal medicine.

After completing his postgraduate studies, Dr. Arfoosh worked at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center while serving as faculty at Wayne State University sharing his knowledge with medical students, residents and fellows. He has also published a number of abstracts and papers in pulmonary and sleep medicine and is highly sought after and respected in the field.

Dr. Arfoosh has practiced in Georgia since 2010 and currently serves as the assistant clinical professor and instructor for medical students at the Georgia campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia. He is the recipient of the Professionalism Award from the Chicago Medical School in recognition of his outstanding care and personal manner. He is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
